LuxRd. at The Paper Caves | “THE CHAUFFEUR”

LuxRd. (Butzi, Driver, and special guest LaGrange) have collaborated with internationally-recognized artist Samuelle Green, using her brilliant PAPER CAVES installation as the setting and inspiration for their re-imagination of Duran Duran’s THE CHAUFFEUR.

Why? When LuxRd. saw The Paper Caves, they were momentarily reminded of the opening scenes of Roger Vadim’s topnotch sci-fi fantasy film BARBARELLA – a film from which world-dominating pop icons Duran Duran borrowed their name (Durand Durand, a futuristic angel).

And “The Chauffeur” is one of the best songs ever written. So, why on earth did they not think to cover it before? Because they needed the divine inspiration of Green’s Paper Caves to reveal their truth.
