Opening reception from 4 – 6 pm on Saturday, December 2
Gallery 222, 222 Main St, Hurleyville, NY
Free and open to the public
The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance partners with the Hurleyville Arts Centre to present “DVAA Radius: Hurleyville” for two weekends in December. This pop-up exhibition will feature artists who live and/or work within a ten-mile radius of Hurleyville, NY. It will be held at Gallery 222, located at 222 Main Street in Hurleyville, NY.
This is the third in a series of “Radius” pop-up exhibitions curated by DVAA, which started with “Radius: 12748” in Jeffersonville in 2014 and was followed by “Radius: Monticello” in 2016, which was displayed in a storefront on Broadway before traveling to SUNY Sullivan.
“The DVAA ‘Radius’ concept is to provide exhibition opportunities for area artists to share their work with the local public in a venue within the community,” says DVAA’s gallery director and curator Rocky Pinciotti. “In Hurleyville, we had the good fortune of organizing a show in the new Gallery 222 run by the Hurleyville Arts Centre. This collaboration brings a variety artists and mediums into the gallery for four brief, but shining days.”
“DVAA Radius: Hurleyville” is on display for two weekends only: December 2 – 3 and December 9 – 10, 2017. An opening reception will be held on Saturday, December 2 from 4 – 6 pm. Gallery hours are 11 am – 5 pm.
The activities of the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance are made possible in part by a grant from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature. For more information call 845-252-7576 or visit delawarevalleyartsalliance.org.
