Shakespeare on the Rails

Drawing from the best plays and characters from the Shakespearean canon, spectators will stroll along the Rails to Trails at Hurleyville Arts Centre and encounter scenes that draw parallels between human nature and the complexities and balance in the soil, water and sky.

Directed by Tannis Kowalchuk and Mimi McGurl with additional text by Melissa Bell and Mark Dunau, music by Doug Rogers and Rima Fand, costumes by Karen Flood, and songs by the Farm Arts Collective Madrigalians.

Farm Arts Collective Is a farm-based cultural organization that makes its home on Willow Wisp Organic Farm, a solar-powered organic vegetable farm in the Upper Delaware River region. Farm Arts Collective is committed to community building through four main pillars of activity: farming, art, food, and ecology. Through workshops, performances, meals, and special events, Farm Arts Collective provides nourishment of mind, body, and spirit, thus deepening our connection to place and each other.
