Ophira Eisenberg is a standup comic and host of NPR’s nationally
syndicated comedy, trivia show Ask Me Another where she interviews and plays silly games with Sir Patrick Stewart, Taye Diggs, Awkwafina, Roxane Gay, Terry Crews, Jessica Walter, Josh Groban, Nick Kroll, Tony Hawk, George Takei, Sasha Velour, Ethan Hawke, Julia Stiles, Lewis Black, Uzo Aduba, Michael C. Hall and more. She also is a regular host and teller with The Moth and her stories have been featured on The Moth Radio Hour and in their best-selling books, including the most recent: Occasional Magic: True Stories About Defying the Impossible. Maysoon Zayid is a comedian, actress, writer, and disability advocate. She is a graduate of Arizona State University and a Princeton Fellow. Maysoon is the co-founder/co-executive producer of the New York Arab American Comedy Festival and The Muslim Funny Fest. She was a full-time On Air Contributor to Countdown with Keith Olbermann and a columnist for The Daily Beast. She has appeared on 60 Minutes, CNN, ABC News, and Oprah Winfrey Networks. Maysoon had the most viewed TED Talk of 2014 and was named 1 of 100 Women of 2015 by BBC. As a professional comedian, Maysoon has sold out top New York clubs and has toured extensively at home and abroad. She was a headliner on the Arabs Gone Wild Comedy Tour and The Together Live Tour. Maysoon appeared alongside Adam Sandler in You Don’t Mess with the Zohan and has written for Glamour Magazine. She limped in New York Fashion Week and is a recurring character on General Hospital. Abby Feldman is a Fulbright Scholar-turned-comedy pop star with credits that include starring in and co-writing comedy series Gringolandia (Netflix), writing for The Fix with Jimmy Carr (Netflix) and Adult Swim’s Soft Focus with Jena Friedman, being a correspondent on comedy news show Redacted Tonight, a contributor to Reductress and one of Montreal’s Just For Laughs New Faces. Her comedy songs Soft to Get, Cellulite Summer and Astrology Song hit #1 on iTunes comedy charts, and her single Call Me By My Hebrew Name was in the top 10, only narrowly missing number 1 because she released it during Chanukah and Adam Sandler’s Chanukah Song was holding strong at the top, though rumor has it he was sweating bullets!
Sarey Ruden is an artist and graphic designer from Detroit, Michigan. She is the creator of Sareytales, The Art of Online Dating. She crafts thought-provoking artwork inspired by the creepy, cruel and misogynistic messages men have sent her on dating apps. Sarey’s work reframes the ever-increasing toxic language used in digital spaces into provocative visual imagery, inviting us to reconsider how we view online dating, through the lens of feminism and modern art.
